Ars: Home Shows Potential, Still Needs Work

The long-awaited and oft-delayed PlayStation Home, a social hub designed to bolster the online community of the PlayStation 3, is nearing open beta. The closed beta has been going on for some time now, and Ars Technica has finally had the chance to sit down with it and thoroughly explore Sony's online experience without the hustle and bustle of a show floor to distract us. After a few days of testing, it's clear that Sony is on to something here, but there is still plenty of work to be done if the company is planning to make a lasting impression on PS3 owners.

all I can say is alot of females are going to buy a PS3 for Home. Females that love second life or Sims are planning on getting Home as well. I watched G4TV,they said it.

I got home last night i have to say its great it does have some bugs as he points out but thats why were beta testing it and i really do have to say that i think once home is out to the full public i really think this will help ps3 it will answer Xbox Live in terms of online service featurs and the extra potential ie. possibly hosting game confrenses like e3 in home especaily now with the Booth floor room TGS showed off it will be a great service and i cant wait for the next update.
