Wow, from all the previews so far this is sounding really promising.

I don't care what anyone says, I thought the game looked great in the gameplay video.

I get that its EA. I really do. Which is why I'm being cautiously optimistic. The game itself looked great, and to me it looked like the only thing that could possibly hold it back is EA jamming a bunch of MT's in it, making it grind-heavy to try and force MT purchases, and just outright monetization in general.

I've learned my lesson with EA. I won't pre-order and will wait to see what the game really is after launch. But I also feel like it's important to support this game if it truly is a good attempt at releasing a single player experience with no, or very little monetization. It will send a big message to EA that they don't NEED to make those style of games when a single player game can earn them very good money too.

So hating on it so early and making up our minds to not buy it this early isn't helping anyone. We need to be cautiously optimistic right now, and if it releases as a fully fleshed out single player game with no really MT shenanigans, then EA should be rewarded for it. If it's not acceptable after launch, then we should keep ignoring EA and their BS practices.

Just my opinion...

They're not looking to acquire, but are they looking to be acquired? That's the big question now with companies like EA, T2, etc.

EA relies way to much on their licensed ip's which isn't a good thing for a Buyer.

I really want them to finish up Cal's story so LucasFilm are free to use him in a TV show or Film if he survives in the end anyway

Cal or Ezra should be rebuilding the Jedi Temple Order...not Rey.

CrimsonWing69264d ago

Please do. These Jedi games have been exceptionally top tier.

Other than their performance but yeah

CrimsonWing69263d ago

I didn’t really run into performance issues, but I played it on PS5.

We don't want it, let someone else develop Star Wars

Tacoboto264d ago

1. Yes we do want it
2. One of the biggest recent announcements has been Star Wars Outlaws, developed by someone else.
