The developers of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 decided to push back the game to an unspecified date in 2020 to further polish the game.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been rated by the ESRB, suggesting a release date announcement could be near. The game is set to launch in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
Screen Rant writes, "Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a long-awaited return to a cult classic, but one change isn't looking like a very promising shift."
If any modders are interested in working on this game, I think a clear dialogue mod will be one of the first available.
I'm disappointed. They seemed to have turned Johnny Silver-hand into a vampire. They say they are using VTM 5e rules, but there seems to be no actual roleplaying. The gameplay reveal was the same warehouse over and over again. The devs didn't try to get to know the goth community it seems nor do they have any experience beyond playing Bloodlines and even then they were not competent enough to understand what made that game great, let alone understand the TTRPG.
Paradox Interactive has released the first gameplay trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 which will be using Unreal Engine 5.
It looked like it could use the extra time. The combat looked kind of off
The combat looked stiff and they shouldn't be tractor beaming you into an enemy everytime you hit them with melee. There's nothing good looking or feeling about that.
I'm hyped for this one. Good to see that it's getting more time.
Please don't launch broken like the first one.
It certainly looked like it needed it. I hope it turns out good cause it's a rare genre I haven't played before.
