It looked like it could use the extra time. The combat looked kind of off

Lightningbolt_2079d ago

The whole game looked kind of off.

Rachel_Alucard2079d ago

The combat looked stiff and they shouldn't be tractor beaming you into an enemy everytime you hit them with melee. There's nothing good looking or feeling about that.

Christopher2079d ago

Yeah. That first gameplay video looked rough as heck. I'm wondering if that wasn't done on purpose to get someone more interested in investing more in the game seeing as it had potential.

william_cade2079d ago

I'm hyped for this one. Good to see that it's getting more time.

Fist4achin2079d ago

Yes. Developers, please take your time and it will be a winner!

eddvdm2079d ago

True, people love to complain when games come out shitty as they have been - but no merit when they decide to trade a very expensive - commercial-wise - decision to push it back to further polish it.

To be very honest about it, I'm not expecting an excellent game - we're talking Paradox here - but I'm happy we're getting a Vampire sequel after so many years. I prefer to wait than to be completely disappointed. Not super optimistic, though.

william_cade2079d ago

I staying optimistic because of my love for the tabletop and I'm hoping with the tech is out now, they can make a solid game. I am expecting a bit of jank, but hopeful that it won't be Bethesda jank.

TheColbertinator2079d ago

Please don't launch broken like the first one.

Christopher2078d ago

I don't recall the first being broken. Then again, I was playing Malkavian, so maybe I just didn't notice?

mogwaii2079d ago (Edited 2079d ago )

It certainly looked like it needed it. I hope it turns out good cause it's a rare genre I haven't played before.

This whole game is one big mistake.

If any modders are interested in working on this game, I think a clear dialogue mod will be one of the first available.

anast504d ago

I'm disappointed. They seemed to have turned Johnny Silver-hand into a vampire. They say they are using VTM 5e rules, but there seems to be no actual roleplaying. The gameplay reveal was the same warehouse over and over again. The devs didn't try to get to know the goth community it seems nor do they have any experience beyond playing Bloodlines and even then they were not competent enough to understand what made that game great, let alone understand the TTRPG.
