Pure PlayStation: If a top-down, twin-stick shooter with roguelike elements sounds like a good time, Battle Planet - Judgement Day will be your jam. If you are somewhere in the middle like me then this title will need a sizeable warm-up period. The upgrading system and gameplay are great, but repetitive waves and mechanics can lead to exasperation. If everything I’ve described leaves a slight distaste in your mouth, this experience is definitely not for you.

Battle Planet - Judgement Day - BagoGames

Battle Planet - Judgement Day is a fairly typical twin-stick shooter with polished environment design, it just gets repetitious with its roguelite gameplay and limited enemy types. It gives a great first impression that fades a few hours in.

Pure PlayStation: Today the developers behind the game, Threaks, have released a new behind-the-scenes developer video where Art Director Max Schulz and Programmer Henning Steinbock sit and play the game while talking about the tech behind it. If you're a wannabe game creator looking for some insight into using Unity, this is a very interesting video. I'm not a game maker, yet I still sat through the ten minutes of tech talk, simply because it was interesting. Kind of like seeing how movies are made, you know?
