Idea Factory International released new details for their dungeon-crawling RPG Mary Skelter 2, coming digitally on Nintendo Switch on October 22 in North America and October 23 in Europe. A physical version will be released from Limited Run Games.
The relationships between Mary Skelter: Nightmares' Jack and Alice and Mary Skelter 2's Otsuu and Little Mermaid constantly propel the stories forward.
There have been jokes that the Nintendo Switch is the successor to the PlayStation Vita. Plenty of visual novels are making their way to the console, and it also has become a haven for RPGs. In fact, it’s even starting to find itself the home for a certain specific sort of RPG, the first-person, party-based dungeon-crawler. There were loads of them on Sony’s handheld and now Nintendo’s system is starting to build up its own library.
Taking everything that players knew about the first Mary Skelter's story and turning on its head and offering a number of small-yet-satisfying gameplay tweaks in the process, Mary Skelter 2 is a "what if" done right.
