if someone consistently delivers, you expect them to deliver
like with my friends, if i'm meeting up with them
some people i'll be on time, some i'll come later cos i know they won't be on time

Yep. People misunderstand faith in someone delivering, who has a history of delivering, as blind faith for no reason.

There are plenty of games, or franchises, that have blind faith for no good reason. Death Stranding isn't one of them.

What about the problem that is plaguing the internet right now? The constant negative articles about Death Stranding? It makes more logical sense believing this game will good based on Kojimas past than blindly hating on it for no apparent reason. Cause it certainly looks like these sites are hating it for no reason.

My point is that someones overall record is irrelevant if their most recent projects aren't of a similar quality level to the ones they made over a decade ago. Is that too difficult to comprehend?

MGS4 was a good game but definitely not great and it's level design alone shows that. MGSV is an example of a game that has great gameplay but again puts itself in a level that in now way allows you to take full advantage of that formula. Oh and lets not even get started on the repetitive story and side missions in MGSV and then a cutscene here and there to break up the monotony. Good games but definitely not great games. Too difficult to comprehend?
