I mean maybe I'm watching a different video but there are times where Link literally looks like a blur. Take when he first leaves the house for example. Not to mention the lighting is way off as well.

It's not unplayable, but I would take the real thing until this gets improved.

You can thank Nintendo for "current gen emulation" which is caused by picking the easiest architecture to reverse engineer with public documentation all over the net coupled with underpowered hardware for 3 freaking generations and counting. Emulation isn't just a matter of piracy, it's about making games accessible to the masses that don't own the console, enthusiasts that want to see their game being rendered by an actual capable machine with all the enhancements.

Stop being EddieNX and try and be Eddie for a while. Play some games on other systems, experience PC bliss with your favorite games and you'll start realizing how stupid exclusivity really is.

I am going to wager that like 99% of the emulation population aren't doing so because they own the hardware / games. They are doing it because they don't want to pay for it.

Besides, why would you want to play on your computer with visual glitches, blurring, lack of lighting, etc. Just so it can be locked at 60fps? I'd rather take the real thing with minor hiccups, at least until they perfect this method.

@Neonridr Take Gamecube and PS2. Those 2 are an infinitely better experience on PC emulation than on the original console given the higher resolution, upscaling, etc. One day the same will be so for Switch games. It's not like they're getting a great experience on the emulator at the moment.
And in terms of piracy: I own a switch but when I see Nintendo charging full price for a remake, I too get the urge to give them the middle finger right back by pirating. But I earn enough now to not allow money to be as much of a consideration as it was in the past. Didn't used to be like that, though....

Eh. I like playing on my switch but at the same time after playing breath of the wild on PC for my second play through I can see the appeal. You have a chance to play a game you might own and love but at a much higher graphical fidelity and in some cases at much improved performance with the option of graphical mods and enhancements.
For cemu it was good because it saves me digging out the old consoles.

Yuzu emulator is make some very fast progress compared to others. Getting Links awakening to this state so fast is impressive .I see they've almost got Mario Odyssey perfected. Finished on switch but wouldn't mind a second play through at 4k60, especially after seeing what else they could do with Breath of the wild with graphical enhancements that really made that game look amazing at high res.

I don't really care about the 'n4g touting piracy' thing per se - but I dont know if i have ever seen a hacking ps4 article. Granted this is emulation (which I am 100% supportive of) but as far as I'm aware - if you have a legal "backup" of this game right now then it means you do own: 1. A hacked switch and 2. The game ... In which case why would you bother with the emulator.
Maybe its that this is being sold as a locked 60fps upgrade / win over console, but of course they dont show its a graphical mess.

Anyway for the sake of being fair I also expect future articles on the ps4 emulators: Spine and Orbital donate today folks!!
