The PS2 was home to some of the best games, yet many are overlooked. In this article I discuss 4 little-known gems that need to be remastered on PS4.
The first thing you soon realize when talking about the best PS2 horror games is that as a whole, the PS2 might just be the best console the genre ever saw.
Resident Evil 4 is a turning point in the series, perfectly blending action with survival horror. With a new over-the-shoulder perspective, gripping storyline, and intense gameplay, the game offers a unique experience as players follow Leon S. Kennedy on a mission to rescue the president's daughter from a mysterious cult. This game reshaped the action-horror genre.
When you're got a console as successful as the PS2, with a library that's well over 3000 total games deep, it's only natural that a large percentage of them are going to fall through the cracks.
Can someone list the games please? I'm at work with a particularly nasty boss so simply don't have the time or freedom to watch a video.
Kill.Switch is one of my favorite shooters on the PS2. I think its insanely underrated. I definitely have not forgot about it. Dead to Rights and Jet Li: Rise To Honor are also great.
I want to give Fallout Brotherhood of Steel a mention. It was the first Fallout game on Playstation. It was a top down view like the originals with decent gameplay. Overlooked by many Fallout fans.
Anticipation can turn into disappointment so often in the video game world. Canceled video game sequels can feel devastating, especially those that promise to expand upon the thrilling stories of their predecessor. Wealth of Geeks runs down some of the most disappointing cancelations that kept anticipated sequels in the dark.
The orginal prey 2 better be on this list.
And it is. Man if could've got this instead. Wonder why no one's step up to do this kinda game yet. I think there's one in development for pc, it's cyberpunk Era but it takes place in some huge apartment complex I think. Anyway I'm saying this not knocking the prey that came out cause I did enjoy that to but really wanted prey 2 (canceled)
There was so many great games on the PS2 that even today I am coming across games I haven't played but would probably have loved back then. Gitaroo Man looks like something that is right up my alley. I checked it out on Youtube and it reminds me of Space Channel 5 in many ways.
I'd like to see the Wild Arms games and the Xenosaga franchise get the remaster treatment.
I'd like to see the Dark Cloud series return with a remake collection and then a sequel.
I’m sad that Sony isn’t adding more games to PS4’s selection of PS2 Classics
There are a ton that they should be remastering or rebooting. Oh well, its not like i have a shortage of anything to play...
