Bungie Will Release At Least One Non-Destiny Game by 2025

From IGN: The next expansions for Destiny 2, “Shadowkeep” is out this week and IGN was able to speak with Bungie CEO Pete Parsons about the studio, and specifically on its plan to become one of the “best entertainment companies” in the world by the year 2025.

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep marks a turning point for the Destiny franchise. It is the first major expansion Bungie has released following its split with ex-partner Activision. “You think this is going to be a really big stressor, but it’s become a really bright shining spot on our ability to bring products to the marketplace and customers,” Parsons tells IGN in an interview."

Whether you like their games or not, gotta agree that they are immensely talented

Undoubtedly I really enjoyed their early work on halo 1 /2 but after that felt like they were being held back by having to work on the same IP over and over. Once Activision got to them and destiny was made to be a cash cow I was worried history would repeat itself.

But now they are independent I'm pretty excited to see what they build when it's not tied to a existing franchise

Yep, by far the best gameplay in the business.

Will it be the SRPG that Halo was going to be before MS made them change it?

If so I hope theu find another publisher for the game, or it will also be ruined by nickle and diming. Destiny had so much potential and the amount of changes to the first game just to water it down (fk you activision) is sickening. Even so, Destiny 1 still had a lot of good qualities to it. Unfortunately it only got worse with time when Micro transactions took over in Destiny 2.

They have a contract with a Chinese company for the other game they are making.
Destiny is now their only independent franchise.

What micro transactions took over Destiny 2? I play it daily and I’d like to know what MT’s you’re referring to. There isn’t a single MT in D2 that gives anyone an advantage.

Going off of what I heard. Did they chop up the game to release several DLC packs like the first game?

I am genuinely curious now. My main friends that I played Destiny 1 with tried 2 and quit rather fast, so I never bothered with it.

These seems like one of the best options for use with a PS5, high quality sound and design. However, you will likely need a dongle for use with many of your bluetooth devices such as an iPhone as it requires a LE signal.

The only purpose I could see me buying them is that they would be more comfortable to wear with PSVR2 compared to their Pulse/Pulse Elite over the head/over the ear cup headphones.

Babadook71h ago

Thats why I want them. Lower weight is a big plus for VR.

The use of “stellar” in the title made my dyslexic brain think there was a stellar blade exclusive limited edition or something.
