The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is the same price as Breath of the Wild, but the content doesn't match the value of its cost.
"
Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is undoubtedly the best way to play one of the greatest games of all time. The visual and performance enhancements remove any issues that you may have had to endure with the original game. It's practically flawless from that perspective.
Sadly, the Zelda Notes app really brings the whole thing down. Useful features that should have been implemented in-game have been relegated to your smartphone, and using it completely breaks immersion in this incredible world. I'm only thankful that it's not even remotely mandatory. Leave Zelda Notes to one side, and you've got the definitive presentation of a modern classic." - Ollie Reynolds | NintendoLife

The composer took to Twitter to share that he actually stepped back from the position in July 2023, though this is the first time he has publicly acknowledged it.
It’s Nintendo...
15-ish hours of content isn't worth $60? Sounds worth it to me, don't see how a different camera angle suddenly makes it worth less, it definitely has better dungeons that BOTW that's for sure.
Crash and Spyro had remakes built from the ground up with higher production values, yet they sold 3 games for $40.
Shadow of the Colossus’s remake had far higher production costs than those aforementioned remakes yet it still costed only $40.
Even Secret of Mana’s remake, which seems to be on a similar scale to Link’s Awakening’s remake, costed only $40.
MediEvil coming out next year is another remake that will sell at the budget price of an easy $30.
Nintendo being Nintendo will continue selling all their remakes and remasters for $60 just because they can.
It’s Nintendo.
