Kotaku: "The Nintendo Switch Lite is one of the finest handheld gaming devices I’ve ever used. It’s sturdy, stylish, and comfortable. It launches with a library that’s already over 2,500 games strong. If all you’re looking for from the Nintendo Switch is personal, portable play, it’s perfect. But is that all you’re looking for?"
WTMG's Oliver Shellding: "Overall, I think Stitch is an ultra quaint title that oozes warmth and welcome in gameplay and visual presentation, and is just such a decompression tool after a long day doing literally anything. It gives me such joy and relaxation to bring together the numbers and colors until I’ve made a bicycle or a nutcracker or whatever. I’ll do Christmas puzzles in April, it’s fine and the game doesn’t judge me. Unlock more and more pieces, don’t wait for power ups or villains because there are none, and just keep making yourself happy. If games are art, this one is a sweater my mom made for me, and I’m wearing it to keep out any and all chilly elements. But, just like mom, I’ll only pretend to listen."

Speaking with Game Rant, Ark director Jeremy Stieglitz outlines the approaches taken to adapting the game's plot for the animated series.
I never used my Switch in TV mode so it made sense to get the Switch Lite. I can’t believe how much better it feels in the hands than the OG Switch. The ergonomics are a little small but the form factor and weight are spot on.
I'm surprised that Kotaku doesn't think that the smaller size of the unit is just empty pandering to dwarves, and that the available colours are racist.
So the summary of this article is to get the switch for its portability and extra battery power but leave it docked to be only used on a tv and then get the switch lite for portability... yeah ummm makes sense??. I think I’d just make the regular switch the portable and tv device as originally intended and save hundreds by not buying the lite. If I owned no Switch and portability was my priority then buy the switch lite and skip the switch. No need for both.
The number one reason is that it has a D-Pad. But having a hacked switch is way better. You can overclock to get a stable 60fps in many games, remap controls, easy save transfer, and of course, piracy.
Switch was always a handheld with an easy plug n play for TV usage
