TSA writes: "Can the Warriors truly return, if many never knew they were here to begin with? There are countless iconic names in the world of screen-scrolling, thug-tossing beat-em-up belt action. Countless fans are sure to gab endlessly about iconic members of the genre like Final Fight or Streets of Rage. Even licensed, action-packed adventures like Alien Vs Predator remain hallmark examples of the pinnacle of side-scrolling brawler excellence."
CCG writes - "Well, 25 years after the remake, and 32 years after the original, Taito, along with the game developer NatsumeAtari, have brought the robo-ninjas back for more! Now called The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, this new game is technically a remastering of a remake. It has brought all the beat ‘em up action from the SNES title to a new generation of players. This new Ninja Warriors game delivers polished pixel art and introduces two new unlockable fighters. As a reskinning of a great older title, there is much to enjoy as well as critique."
MonsterVine: "The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors is a simple but fun return to the basics of the beat-em-up genre. "
Game looks great, I remember going to the arcade to play the original Ninja Warriors with it's multi screen setup back in the day. Happy to see that the 2019 remake is getting the reviews it deserves, will definitely be picking this one up.
"There's an absurd amount of indie games so once again, I combed through the crowded market to show you some noteworthy titles." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
