Love the gothic, religious imagery, unsetlling yes, but also beautiful.
Yes, like medieval paintings, very disturbing in a lot of ways, but also beautiful. It's a great game.
Blair Witch was.. because it sucked and wasnt scary
I’m playing it right now and so far I’m really enjoying it. The combat is visceral with a nice weight behind every swing. Enemy design is very unique as well. It’s not a souls clone but it does have souls like elements. Well worth the $20 it cost me.
The theme reminds me of Dante's Inferno, an underrated gem.
I hated the rep Dante's Inferno got as being nothing more than a God of War clone. Personally, I enjoyed Dante's Inferno more than God of War 3.
I remember, Lords of Shadow got the same treatment too and both games excuted everything so well it was criminaly absurd by some reviewers to hit on them only because they belong to their genre. Like only God of War is allowed to borrow from God of War shitting on the fact the GoW itself is not the first game in its genre, Capcom did it before and so did Konami. Idiots.
Looks fantastic. Getting on switch tonight
How is the difficulty?
Less than Hollow Knight.
It’s not TO difficult but you will need to be patient. Rushing through the levels seem to reward you with a game over screen. I’ll say this, by the time you reach your next check point you will be thankful...
I hope we get a physical release in the future.
