The Utawarerumono series’ first real foray into action does shine in some areas, but is best thought of as a novelty item for series fans.
Japanese developer Aquaplus announced an upcoming remake of To Heart and a PC version of Utawarerumono: Zan.
CCG Writes - "While this game is fun, I can’t recommend paying $60 for it since there’s no new content other than the battle style, a short campaign, and nobody playing online. If it does go on sale, it may be worth picking up if you’re already familiar with the story line. If you’re looking to try the Utawarerumono series, start with the visual novel games if you don’t mind the moral warnings. You won’t be disappointed with those!"
Daily Video Game writes: "There are several Japanese role-playing and visual novel games on sale with huge discounts on Amazon right now! If you are interested in getting some new JRPG and visual novel for your PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and 3DS, you will be able to save up to 63% off of them for a limited time now!"
I hate these sales titles. To me they’re click bait. It’s always, “up to 67% off...” but only one or two games are 67%off the rest are like 10-20% off.
