The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "Well, 25 years after the remake, and 32 years after the original, Taito, along with the game developer NatsumeAtari, have brought the robo-ninjas back for more! Now called The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, this new game is technically a remastering of a remake. It has brought all the beat ‘em up action from the SNES title to a new generation of players. This new Ninja Warriors game delivers polished pixel art and introduces two new unlockable fighters. As a reskinning of a great older title, there is much to enjoy as well as critique."

Game looks great, I remember going to the arcade to play the original Ninja Warriors with it's multi screen setup back in the day. Happy to see that the 2019 remake is getting the reviews it deserves, will definitely be picking this one up.

It's available on Amazon physical release

Same here. That 3 screen beast used to live at the back of Sunspot in central Manchester, England. Used to love it but that tank used to cause us problems, which meant that playing it was not great cost performance!

@Knushwood

Yes, the tank was a beast, especially the gunner on top...

Don't know the sunspot, but grew up not too far away from you in sunny Sheffield - down through Glossop and over the Snake Pass. I lived at Stockport for a while, big fan of Manchester and used to go there a lot.
Do you know the Colosseum? There used to be an old building opposite where I used to buy pirate Dreamcast and PlayStation games when I was young and very poor?

Knushwood Butt1703d ago

I lived close to Stockport until I was in my 20s.

Not sure about the Colosseum but it does ring a bell.

For arcades, there was Roddy's underneath the bridge near to the main bus station in Stockport. May have been closed by the time you lived there. Used to go in there in the late 80s. It was a bit shady but I never really had any trouble in there. I remember one summer my mate came back from Spain with a load of 10 Peseta coins that looked like quid coins. We used to exchange one 10 Peseta coin for 10 x 10p coins! It was all manual in those days and the girl that did the coin changing was not the sharpest tool in the box! Can't believe we had the nerve to do it but never got caught! Probably because we never abused it, but still, if we had been caught would probably have received a beating...
