If you’ve played any Ubisoft game, you know map “size” is not an issue.

neutralgamer19921856d ago

if you have ever played a open world UBI game

than you have played them all

filled with as many icons as possible

rinse and repeat

Segata1856d ago

Until Odyssey. Also, Spider-Man on PS4 for as much as I loved it uses the same formula.

neutralgamer19921856d ago

Odyssey is worst in other areas like repetitive missions that you must do or buy boosters

Ubi does everything like Ea and Activision but are always over looked by media and fans for some reason

We don't need open worlds any bigger than they already are. We need more denser worlds with weather effects and wind, more people and objects, more particle effects and physics, more lighting, more indoor to outdoor movement and vise versa.

Bigger worlds you can't interact with or is not "ALIVE" is getting boring.

Kakashi Hatake1856d ago

So true. Map size doesn't make games better. Tired of the open world fad. I don't mind a large map but let's work on concepts and denser worlds. Holding forward longer to get from point a to b isn't revolutionary.

What a clueless article, typical gamingbolt nonsense. We have huge open world games and ones where you can explore and entire planet... What a complete moron!

DarkZane1856d ago

Why do the always use unknown developers to get their points across?

Hedstrom1856d ago

Gaminingbolt! When you want nonsens they deliver! Every month, every week and every day of the year!

Bookbound Brigade - Nintendo Switch Review - Any Button Gaming

Welcome to our Bookbound Brigade review, settle in as we take you through our thoughts on this unusual addition to the the tried and tested Metroidvania genre. It does offer some novel mechanics that haven’t appeared in the genre as of yet. But it’s hard to see this game, innovations and all, as any kind of improvement to said genre.

Many bad reviews on this. Sounds like a botched opportunity on a great MV concent. Sucks.

"It does offer some novel mechanics"

I see what you did there.
