Welcome to our Bookbound Brigade review, settle in as we take you through our thoughts on this unusual addition to the the tried and tested Metroidvania genre. It does offer some novel mechanics that haven’t appeared in the genre as of yet. But it’s hard to see this game, innovations and all, as any kind of improvement to said genre.

If you’ve played any Ubisoft game, you know map “size” is not an issue.
We don't need open worlds any bigger than they already are. We need more denser worlds with weather effects and wind, more people and objects, more particle effects and physics, more lighting, more indoor to outdoor movement and vise versa.
Bigger worlds you can't interact with or is not "ALIVE" is getting boring.
