Josh writes: I don’t know what it is about horror games that draw me to them like a drunk guy to a taco bell at 2 am. I think it comes from a deep-seated feeling that I love the idea of getting scared by entertainment. The problem I have is that it is very hard to scare me, including via random jump scares, as it really takes a lot to make physically jump.
That being said, I like to get my hands on as many horror related things as possible, from games to movies and everything in-between. When my editor received Shadows 2: Perfidia, he knew that this was a game which would be right up my alley.
Big ideas and a budget price. Did it work in this claustrophobic horror romp.
"If you try to stay on top of all the indies that release every week, you may come across plenty that look interesting but it's hard to tell if they're any good. With that in mind, here are my thoughts on 8 recently released interesting-looking indie games." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Some of my best memories this gen hard come from indie games. Games like Hob, Firewatch, Gone Home, Outlast, Amnesia Collection, Hyper Light Drifter, Edith Finch, Remothered and so on and so forth.
Yes, Dead Cells, Deaths Gambit, Dust an Elysian Tale to name a few were one of the best games ive played.
