Nintendo is likely teasing a Super Mario Sunshine 2 or Switch remake, thanks to a tweet where the use of the word 'sunshine' raised eyebrows.
Remember that delfino plaza in Odyssey leak? Was that ever debunked? I swear if this is just dlc for Odyssey and not a remaster or a sequel, then I will riot. I freaking loved sunshine. Seems more likely as dlc though since odyssey and sunshine are both in the same sentence....
Sunshine is secretly the best 3D Mario. Odyssey is barely even a platformer.
I m making $320 to $380 every hour online artworks and that I got $19894 and additional in multi month web based performing from home. i'm an ordinary full time understudy and I work unquestionably to my spair of hours in my extra time.anybody can attempt this activity and makes mogul and demonstrated yourlife design by methods for truly open this hyperlink.................exce llent luck★ HERE►► https://bit.ly/2YuSYtu
Nah I loved Sunshine but Galaxy was the best for me.
You have so weird opinions... But I respect them. Just hope you are serious!!! Best 3d Mario is Mario 64..followed by Galaxy 2. Sunshine was good and very creative, but had camera problems that really were frustrating
And Paper Mario is the best 2D Mario game.
The worst 3D are Mario are the new ones. Worst in order: 1. Galaxy 2 2. Galaxy 1 3. Odyssey
Same here. Most people call it the worst 3D Mario but I loved it for doing something so different, and the soundtrack and locations were all great. Not saying it’s the best but I like it just as much as any of the other games
I think it’ll be DLC or a Remake Nintendo never do direct sequels unless it’s on that system at the end. Super Mario Galaxy 2 being on the Wii aswell and how we’re getting Breath of the Wild II for this gen.
New Super Mario 1/2 spanned systems. Metroid Prime 3 comes to mind, too. Luigi's Mansion 3 is coming in two months.
I’m talking about the main two games from then 3D Mario games starting from Super Mario 64 and Zelda
@Foxtrot Even that’s not quite true though. Zelda ALBW amd ALttP are several generations apart and on different systems. Not to mention Windwaker and Phantom Hourglass.
Link's Awakening, too. One of the few direct sequels.
A Link to the Past was released on SNES. A Link Between worlds was released on the 3DS. Wind Waker was released on Gamecube. Phantom Hourglass was released on DS. They have indeed released direct sequels outside of the same system.
Oh boy oh boy!
As much as I'd like a sequel I would also like more for Odyssey. It was a solid game, and it kinda introduced the idea of there being a whole world for Mario to explore and not just a kingdom. That one Sunshine tease looked way too good and I'm still hoping it was real.
It would be more like odyssey since it's part of the series . Mario 64, mario sunshine ,mario odyssey.
Can nintendo create a new franchise for older fans to enjoy? Its mario forever.
Astral Chain? Daemon X Machima? Bayonetta 3?
those are all 3rd party timed exclusives.
Splatoon and Arms. Town being made and Ninjala or something? not sure of the name
@TheHateTheyGive Yeah, no. None of those are timed exclusives, they're just exclusives. Nintendo own those games. Keep blindly crying for your grown up games. They're already there dude.
Third party timed exclusives? lmao. I notice a common trend here on N4G - some people love typing first before thinking. Others just have zero f'ing clue on what's going on. You fall into the latter.
Third party timed exclusive? Lmao, what? Nintendo published all of those titles, which mean they literally paid for those games to be made. Are games like Bayonetta 2 or even Fire Emblem Three Houses timed exclusive because they weren’t made in-house? Well now, at least I know what your intention is for your comment.
If you don't like it don't buy it
It's 2019 and some people STILL think Nintendo hasn't made any new franchises. You just haven't bothered to play them.
mario luigi mario meow halo mario forza mario gears and lil bit mario ...not that i hate superm but over 30 years same so uhh and get praised so much
And yet you ignore the new games and franchises that they put out. Kindda ironic isn’t it?
They get praised because there good games
Oh I hope it's true. Would love a Super Mario Sunshine remake and Super Mario Sunshine 2.
Yup, I’d take either, Sunshine is still my favourite SM game of all time!
Please Remaster all the 3D Mario games onto the Switch oh and all the 3D Zelda games.
I’m still wanting MARIO 128. I really like the gameplay loop of Mario 64 and want to see it on a much bigger scale.
Man if Super Mario Sunshine 2 or if Super Mario Sunshine 1 was available on Switch, I would buy it immediately!
All3? Remake of sunshine not a massive fan but was still a pretty top notch game and happily smash it again. Sequel yes please and odyssey dlc hell yeah. Then Galaxy3 and odyssey2 plesse haha
I thought Sunshine was better than Odyssey.
Sunshine is the only Mario game I couldn't get into. If they done a remaster or a sunshine 2. I'm open to give it another try.
If it’s just a new outfit there will be war.
Whichever one it is, I'm excited for it!
Man I still gotta get more into Odyssey, so many games.
6 watermelon seeds, September 6th Nintendo Direct confirmed xD I'm calling it lol.
I hope it's something other than odyssey dlc. I liked odyssey but it was over and done for me. Haven't played it since I beat bowser a week after buying it.
The highlight of Sunshine were the retro stages and the atmosphere, the design was otherwise really rough by Nintendo’s standards. The graffiti spraying was just a virtual community service punishment.
Ouuuuuu finally we are maybe getting something .. just please dont let it be an Odyssey DLC.
Would be cool if it’s a remake. I’ve seen some people saying it could be a sequel which in then means end of system life cycle. I mean it makes some sense. I mean I see breathe of the wild 2 being released for next Christmas season, there gonna need something for next year, then what next. And again to me it all make sense and with the light version coming out as well and new version with longer battery life. I said this as soon as I saw the switch and what it was, this system from the start was there system to be the successor of the DS. Here me out, I’ve just always seen it as a portable, yes it had a way to play at home but so did the superboy and game boy player of GameCube and what they did with the switch was just a souped up version of that. and now with the new systems there releasing which provide even more room for more portability play just adds more file to my idea. I see them talking about there new system next e3 and I really could see them even releasing soon and that release being lined up with the Olympics. I mean there apart of the hosting gig as we saw. Or to be released with the opening of the new theme park.
Shouldn't this be tagged as a rumor? It's speculation. Seems like a stretch to say that this tweet is "likely" teasing Super Mario Sunshine 2 or a remake.
I loved Sunshine, but it's notoriously the "least" popular of the 3d Mario sandbox style games. What would the incentive be for Nintendo to make a sequel to it, over the likes of 64, Galaxy, or Odyssey itself?
Sunshine is the only Mario game I haven't played so I would be really excited for a remaster of this title, I watch the Giantbomb crew play through the game and it looked like so much fun. Having said that, I'd give my left knacker for a Galaxy 1&2 remaster, they are my favourite Mario games by far.
Sunshine needs to be REmade. Been wanting tha
4 seeds in the watermelon and 2 seeds on the cheek... April 2 anyone??
Sunshine was my favorite.
Lord ham mercy I just came
Super Mario Sunshine 2 would be amazing.
I think people are reading too much into this.
