The U.S. release date has been revealed for the PDP Gaming Ultra Slim Charging System.

I've always wanted a charging dock for my PS4 controllers but never bought one. I found the other ones looked quite large in comparison. I might think about getting this one as it's very slim and doesn't take up much room.

charging stations are a must have for DS4's the built in battery doesn't last very long so I was always plugging one of them in or worst case playing with it wired.

I brought the official Sony one at launch of the console. It works pretty well, but one side stopped working a couple years ago. Plus, it had a bad habit of pushing the PS button when you inserted the controller into the cradle, which could sometimes turn on the system inadvertently.

They aren't a must have. You can use the regular UBS cable just fine. Craddle keeps things tidier.

Cool thing about the charging stations for xbox one is a lot of them come with rechargeable batteries 🔋 you can even swap batteries between controllers so you favorite one stays charged

Thirty dollars is a little steep for this charger, I just bought a similar one for Ten bucks off Amazon with free shipping that works great. Granted, it's not as low profile but, it does the job at nearly twenty dollars less.

I've been thinking of getting the one that can do the controllers, two move controllers, and hold the PSVR.

I have this one for my PSVR, it will charge 2 dual shocks 2 move controllers, it also has storage for the PS gun and a headset.

I think that's the one I was looking at, except the two move controllers went on one side, and there were two controller spots on the other. Everything else looks the same.

Why would anyone with an Xbox need this? You can charge your controller connected to the console to charge while it's powered off / standby.
