Michael Kitchin writes, "Tetsumo Party does offer some thrills, despite the small package and cheap price tag. There's fun to be had with a chaotic coop mode and single player does offer some returning value. It runs out of gas fairly quickly but, in short bursts, it can be enjoyable. I do wish the game was more pleasing to look at but there's definitely something to this. Pity there's not more meat to it."
Your goal in this game is to strike a pose that will allow you to glide through the wall that’s heading your way quickly. You have to position your character’s arms and legs independently as they each have several possible configurations. The more walls you can get through, the better. In most cases, it only takes one mistake to knock you out of the game. When you mess up, your character will be smashed across the screen and you may get a glimpse of their butt crack.
Carlos writes: "Should you be after a game that can provide hours of fun or even some engaging experiences with friends, then Tetsumo Party isn’t likely to be your go-to game. It has a nice idea and if done better - dare I say maybe even with Kinect from back in the day - we could have been looking at a very interesting game. Sadly, that’s not the case"
Tetsumo Party, from Monster Couch, is a game where sumo warriors join a contest like no other and is out now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch
