Epic Games Store's Trello board roadmap recently had some target dates changed from July to August, which makes it the second delay.
The Epic Games Store's free game of the week will have you gliding and climbing through an epic journey.
2025 cloud gaming trends are looking good, but it’s not all smooth yet. We break down what’s working, what’s not, and what comes next.
As someone who has been gaming nearly as long as gaming has been around (since the early 70's), you'd think I'd be against this. Having grown up with all the major platforms and the whole notion of physical ownership... but I'm not. i embrace this as it is a revolutionary convenience. And one i know for a fact many (especially here) have not even given the fair chance to use. I get it... i was there too. But now i have a new outlook on it. It really is a hell of an option if you just want to play with no commitments. By no means am i saying this should replace traditional gaming, its an option. And one that people should look at optimistically as a way to compliment traditional gaming. There is room for both to thrive.
I tend to use streaming on new games in GamePass. To see if I like the game. If I do, I'll download it for a better experience. It's so convenient & useful.
Blacknut has announced a brand new partnership with Kalypso Media. This will see Kalypso's gaming portfolio arrive on Blacknut.
The partnership will take hold from June 27th with the arrival of a selection of Klaypos Media titles onto the Blacknut cloud gaming platform.
They've done a couple of shady things lately, not very impressed.
Not shocked, anti consumer after all.
Just as many people predicted.
I have said it before, but why would something like this take any time at all? They could easily hire a few people and get this done in a week. If they have all of that money to pay for timed exclusives, then they could easily afford to pay a bunch of people a wage to implement basic features.
They’re too busy taking games away from steam to improve their own store.
Pos store
Epic released the client in Dec 2018?
They should of at least have had all the features, but nah, they wanted to capitalize on the success of Fortnite so they released a bare-bones client, then they can brag about the number of people using it (which will be the amount of players who are playing Fortnite - PC).
Instead of concentrating on the clients features, they instead put all their efforts into gaining exclusives for the store so they can further brag about their numbers/statistics.
In this day and age, they should of had at least all/or most of the features out. IMO they wouldn't of gotten so much slack if they did this. There priorities are in the wrong place, sure they have different teams working on different parts, but you would assume they would concentrate on the client.
