Final Fantasy XIV Doesn't Run From Its Politics Like So Many Other Games

As companies continue to deny politics in their games, Final Fantasy XIV further embraces them.

Link doesn't work. Not all games run from politics, it's pushing putting modern political agendas that is annoying, such as in life is strange 2. So pushy and over the top that it breaks game immersion.

I'm at a stage now that I just associate anyone talking about politics in games as just meaning they want to see very unsubtle Trump/America bashing. Game writers just can't pull it off without being cringy or in your face about it.

You are exactly right, Those same people complaining about not having politics in games would be apoplectic if a developer made the politics in the game about how great a Trump-like President is and how The country is Prosperous under his Presidency.
Matter of fact, I would LOVE to see a Developer do this so I can see all these Hypocrites write articles about how much they hate it and that they should keep Politics (the politics they disagree with) out of games.

Nobody cares about Social Politics because it affects nobody and it's manufactured outrage. Actual government politics that involve war and conflicts with nations that could destroy entire countries will always be more interesting then first world problems.
