You could play any game you want, on whatever device is available to you. All you would need is a screen and an internet connection.
Retro gaming, especially the kind of retro that company is going for, won't require a lot of bandwidth to run, and the games themselves are far simpler. So, sure, I think streaming for games like that makes a bit of sense. Modern games on the other hand? RoFL.
I totally agree with you concerning modern games. Someone else made the point that this service might actually be kind of limited to not-so-popular titles and redundant because ROMs are so readily available. Still, I think it might be nice to have all those games in the same place and easy to manage.
