From VG247: "The team behind the upcoming Borderlands 3 have revealed that they’ve got their sights set on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for the upcoming film adaptation of the franchise.
Speaking to VG247 ahead of the release of the tongue-in-cheek post-apocalyptic role-playing shooter, creative director Paul Sage revealed that he’s “100%” up for the big-screen adaptation."
Though far from the best version, this does a mostly good job of bringing this snarky sci fi shooter to the Switch.
The upcoming Borderlands movie adaption is due for release in 2024 and "it's Bananas" says director Eli Roth recently.
Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition Switch has been revealed for Nintendo Switch and is already confirmed to release in October 2023.
The first 3 games were great on the Switch so I'm sure this one will be good.
Hate to say it but this was a bad game I don't see the merit in porting it unlike the first 2
That's a weird choice. Even kevin hart would have made a better claptrap
The Rock playing Claptrap just sounds odd and doesn't make much sense to me. He should play Roland or some vault hunter with muscles.
If they for some reason do choose The Rock, here are quotes for him:
"Shut your mouth and know your role Vault Hunter!"
"Do you smell what the Claptrap is cooking?"
Dumb idea. The Rock is not a midget, dwarf or really short he should be one of the tough big guy vault hunter characters.
The Rock as Claptrap doesn't sound right his voice is too low and it's not annoying yet funny at the same time. Chris Tucker could be a better choice he has a higher voice and he is annoying.
Tom Cruise as Les Grossman as Claptrap
