“Joy-Con drift,” which results in a thumbstick that reads movement without player input, has been an ongoing problem for Nintendo Switch owners since the console’s launch back in early 2017. Without large-scale fixes from Nintendo, however, players have taken to fixing their $80 controllers themselves, sometimes with disastrous results.
WTMG's Oliver Shellding: "Overall, I think Stitch is an ultra quaint title that oozes warmth and welcome in gameplay and visual presentation, and is just such a decompression tool after a long day doing literally anything. It gives me such joy and relaxation to bring together the numbers and colors until I’ve made a bicycle or a nutcracker or whatever. I’ll do Christmas puzzles in April, it’s fine and the game doesn’t judge me. Unlock more and more pieces, don’t wait for power ups or villains because there are none, and just keep making yourself happy. If games are art, this one is a sweater my mom made for me, and I’m wearing it to keep out any and all chilly elements. But, just like mom, I’ll only pretend to listen."
Set to bring action adventuring to PC and console, Mark of the Deep is a narrative rich game which mixes in some decent ideas
Speaking with Game Rant, Ark director Jeremy Stieglitz outlines the approaches taken to adapting the game's plot for the animated series.
I don't know if it was the Joy-Con or not, but I remember Mario Odessey controls were weird, running and jumping was difficult almost like you had to do the 2 functions separately, and if you run and turn, it wasn't sharpe, you had to turn in like a full circle.
Joy-cons are terrible, can't imagine having a switch without the pro controller.
Waiting for that one comment that goes something like "I've never had this issue with my Switch!"
Good for you pal, doesn't change the fact that some people ARE having this issue, ya fuckin' dismissive jackass. >_>
I’ve had this issue on two Joycons. One was fixed by Nintendo for free (luckily), and the other one I haven’t tried to get fixed yet. I think I’m going to try to do it myself, and maybe put a proper d-pad in it too.
