dailygamesnews.com - MumboJumbo, leading developer and publisher of casual games, has unveiled Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife for the PC. This is the fourth instalment in the popular marble-shooter franchise, which launched in 2005 and received recognition as the "casual game of the year."

Developer MumboJumbo made after the success of the spin-off kralenschieter Zuma Luxor where the gameplay was almost identical to Zuma. But Zuma was also passed one of the many rip-offs of Puzz Loop 1998 of The Mitchel Corporation, which makes Luxor Quest for the Afterlife is yet another sequel to a spin-off of a rip-off. Through play, and to utilize realizing it, one would quickly following the shelf rhetorical question: so what?!"

Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife goes by the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." This game knows what it wants to do and does it competently; unfortunately, what it does isn't that special. Luxor certainly isn't a bad game, its simply hard to justify paying 20 bones for something that's been done before many times. In the end, Luxor is decent distraction during lunch breaks, but you probably wouldn't want to play this game for long periods. If you do like these games, however, Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife isn't a terrible purchase.
