Pokemon Sword and Shield has been criticized for resuing the same in-game models as the 3DS version, but it turns out that is not the case.
Each Pokemon generation and entry brings up something new to the franchise. Let's talk about the rankings of every Pokemon generation.
NE: "Pokemon Sword and Shield have a confusing story, and today, we're discussing how we can use details from the anime to make it make sense."
If you are new to the Pokémon universe or just bought a Switch, you might be wondering: what are the best Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch?
Of course they’re not using 3DS models. The Pokémon community is just full of toxic manchildren that’s throwing a tantrum because a developer wants to do the sensible thing and NOT include over a thousand characters, with associated attacks and such, into their game.
Basically they remade models and yet they look nearly identical to the 3DS models. That's impressive in a bad way. They also reused exact animations from the 3DS games.
This is just Game Freak being pretty half-hearted honestly. They no longer see Pokemon as a top priority (they've said this before) so now it's pretty sub-par developing.
This game looks awesome, at least to me anyway. Can't wait to play through it on my TV.
I understand why it doesn't have all the Pokémon In it, and why Gamefreak needs to start fresh. You presumably will be able to transfer your Pokémon from Sword and shield to the next Switch Pokemon game.
I don't get the amount of hatred I've seen towards the game off people on this site, except that maybe theyre Nintendo haters who love bashing Nintendo.
Great, they remade them but they look exactly the same as the 3ds with exactly the same animations. That's just lazy.
Could have fooled me
