If you wait for Until Dawn 2, you should play The Dark Pictures, recommends Supermassive Games.

You know 343 i didnt like heavy rain, beyond two souls , shenmue, but i did like until dawn. I destroyed it one playthrough and i couldnt put the controller down. I only payed 20 bucks for it and it was worth it so a sequel I would be interested in but the story kind of ended everything.
I do like games in this genre like life is strange and oxenfree but im not a fan of quicktime events but horror and mystery always gets me.
The character models and environments look so good too. I need to finish it
Heavy Rain is slow in the beginning but it’s awesome. I love Shenmue but it’s not for everyone

Life is Strange was very enjoyable. Did you ever play TWD, Tales From the Borderlands, Wolf Among Us or Game of Thrones?

Yea I tried to like on ps3 but I couldnt. I was so excited to get shenmue on dreamcast but i had a japanese dreamcast cause I got mvc2 early and man it was great. I got to the part on shenmue when you had to work at the docks and I just couldnt doit anymore. I miss the days of real diverse gaming and not just sequels and games with every mechanic of the last.

I hate point and click games but I dont think their bad games but just not for me. Heavy rain and beyond two souls is just the gameplay aspect and not the actual story but maybe i need to give them another go. TWD is just too uch point and click but truth be told i love dragons lair lol. I love TWD show but the games i couldnt get into, I know thats stupid but i have no explanation other than i played and didnt like it.
Haha, it’s okay that you couldn’t get into the games. I love TWD & GOT shows, along with Telltales games. But everyone’s different. Maybe give Heavy Rain & BEyond another chance or at least give Detroit: Become Human a try if you haven’t already.
I loved those style of games. I just beat Detroit Being Human and messed up time so I'll be playing again. Loved Until Dawn and only lost one person due to something stupid. Replaying these games are tough cause your choices are yours and forcing yourself just to say or do something else just to see a different path isnt fun for me. I like them better than Walking Simulators although What Remains of Edith Finch was amazing. Get it on PS plus!
Yeah this game was actually a pleasant surprise this gen and I would love a sequel eventually. Man of Medan which they are currently developing looks fucking awesome though so no rush.
they already made Until Dawn "Rush of Blood" and "The Inpatient". Their new series Dark Pictures (similar to Masterpiece Theater) continues the narrative trend with 4 new stories.

And man, Until Dawn...one of my favorite games this generation. A really terrifying & intense gaming experience. Their were a few nights I refused to play the game, because I was worried about the outcome of my characters lol.

There was one part you had to hold the controller still and at that precise time my body decided it wanted to sneeze... You can guess what happened to that character lol
Lol. Noooo. That’s really awful timing. My friend & I both had a bet going on with that game, to see who could keep the most characters alive. We tied in the end haha. We both lost a character during that scene you speak of. I remember being pretty darn still, and I still lost a character.

I dropped my controller just as that part came up and decided to leave it on the floor until that section was over thinking cool, it's not moving anywhere now anyway. Then the rumble started to kick in with the heartbeat rhythm and all I could do was sit back, sigh and watch everything fall to pieces.
Right there with ya! I was so stoked Sony kept Until Dawn alive because I was excited for what was shown for the PS3 but what we got was more than I imagined.
I wish Sony would've let them do part 2 instead of the VR games. Rush of Blood was cool but I think Until Dawn 2 would've been better!
I always thought it could be an anthology series and they are doing that with Man of Medan but hopefully we get Until Dawn 2 someday because it's one of my favorite horror games from this gen.
Yeah, I was so glad Sony kept it alive as well. Seeing the graphics on PS4 really blew me away. I still think it looks fantastic.
Some of my friends enjoyed Rush of Blood, but me not so much.
I’m hoping we get Until Dawn 2 someday as well! I’m honestly surprised they never did a sequel with the great reception from gamers that I kept hearing from online & just in person.
They said they didn't want to do a sequel right now, because there would be no way of knowing who survived and died in the first game, unless they did maybe a save game file fix. Plus they wanted to do something different. I don't think Sony would turn down Until Dawn 2, considering how well received the game was.
Until Dawn was a really good game, I beat that in two days but I LOOOOVE Rush of Blood. It's still ranked as one of my top 5 PSVR games only topped by Resident Evil and Astrobot.

Sony didnt market or promote it as heavy as most of their other exclusives. And when people talk about great PS4 games hardly anyone ever mentions Until Dawn.
I didn’t personally like it. idk if my was just bugged but the facial animations were all wonky.

I got this on launch day and got the platinum in a week. Loved it. Rami Malek is awesome in it.

Supermassive Games is not working on a sequel to last year's surprise hit Until Dawn, managing director Pete Samuels has confirmed. It does, however, have plans to take what it did with the game and broaden it out "into similar experiences", potentially with another publisher on other platforms.
They sound like they want to go multi platform after rush of blood. Until Dawn probably belongs to Sony, so they'll just make a new IP and throw that out there. Shades of Insomniac with Fuse and Sunset Overdrive.
I would be surprised if there is no sequel to this game sometime down the road. I guess with Detroit Become Human releaseing within the next 2 years, there's space for Supermassive to do something different in the meantime.

I'll wait for reviews to get an idea. After Until Dawn and Rush of Blood, they rushed multiple games out to cash in on their fame an dropped the ball on each.
They have potential. Just need to take their time making their games.
I'm not too sure about that I haven't been too impressed with whats been shown the animation and facial motion capture is obviously a major step down from Until Dawn.
