They really should give you a 30 day notice on games leaving. At this point you only have a few weeks

They do. But you gotta have something to complain about I guess 🤷

crazyCoconuts736d ago

Please find an article older than a day ago that states, say that The Somnium Files are leaving GamePass and I'll gladly admit my error.

TGGJustin736d ago (Edited 736d ago )

They never give you a 30 day heads up. Games leave the service twice a month; once in the middle and once at the end. You get a two week heads up each time before games leave. So when these games leave at the end of the month you'll find out which games are leaving in the middle of October and have 2 weeks to play them. As of right now no one knows which games those will be.

If you are going to try and say someone is complaining and tell them they're wrong maybe be sure you got your facts straight.

Xristo736d ago

If you have Game Pass, they tell you on the front page which games are leaving soon and the date. Only those who don’t have GP rely on websites for that info.

crazyCoconuts736d ago

So you're saying on the app, these games were announced as leaving at the beginning of September, but still somehow all the websites reporting on the games leaving just started doing so like a day ago. And all the articles reporting the games leaving at the beginning of September left these same games out for some reason. I mean, it's possible but would be really weird

MadLad736d ago

They have their games up for 6 months to a year, or even more than that.

The majority of the people who wanted to play those titles would have already.

I know backlog happens, but still. If you're interested in playing a game, you shouldn't wait even six months and complain you didn't have enough time to play it.

theindiearmy736d ago

They used to. Now half a month seems to be the trend for some reason.

Jericho1337736d ago

2 weeks is enough notice. Plus if you really want to keep playing then buy it.

So your not up to date with the service you pay for since it’s listed on the front page. You would like random 3rd party websites you don’t pay for to write an article for you to remind you and maybe keep writing daily update articles in case you miss it.

Well good for you Phil has rented a car and plane with signs to circle your house daily to remind you. In addition the power company will be adding the service for you shortly.

The best would be full dates of starting and ending. Fan boys saying that’s not desired. Now most people get their value for the service so it kind of seems worthwhile to put up with 2 to 4 weeks but certainly it’s not desirable.
