DSOGaming writes: "The first gaming benchmarks for the AMD Ryzen 3900X (as well as the 3700X) have been leaked online. These benchies originate from PCGamesHardware and according to the German website, AMD’s brand new CPU is faster than the Intel Core i9 9900K under heavily multi-threaded games."
KnowTechie writes: "The GameScent is a unique way to add immersion to your games. Thanks to its HDMI and 3.5mm jack, the device is versatile, so you can use it across your consoles and PC. However, it would be great to see a new range of scents since there are only six, and many smell similar to each other."
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
GameScent is aiming to push gaming forward with the ability to fill the room with an aroma that matches the game being played.
It's like Richard at Digital Foundry said, it took a die shrink to 7nm to be able to compete with Nvidia top Mid-range GPUs at 16nm (pseudo 12nm) and Intel's best 12nm CPUs. Even with 7nm AMD can't compete with 12nm single-core performance, and with 7nm GPUs they can't compete against Nvidia's pseudo 12nm top range (2070 super, 2080, 2080 super, 2080 ti.) Plus the CPUs and GPUs run louder, hotter and need relatively a lot of wattage to keep up. GPUs lack extra features such as ray tracing and DLSS.
So what's the fuzz about Ryzen and Navi then?
At least we know what the next-gen consoles will be like. I really hope there's a Pro model available at launch, I don't care how much it costs, I just want to play Sony exclusives without stutter and at native 4K/60fps, and without an upgrade three years later.
Looking at benchmarks for most of the day today, and I was surprised that the Ryzen 5 3600 out performs the Ryzen 7 2700X in gaming. I was considering going with Zen+ with the discounts that are now happening, but it isn't worth it. I'll probably go 3700X or 3800X, but I'm really not excited about having a motherboard with a chipset fan built onto it. Might be better to go with a B450 board and flash the bios, but I havent made up my mind yet.
Going to upgrade my 2700x to the 3900x. I use win 10 LTSC 1809 because I hate win 10 home/pro I hate all that useless crap they add. Being on LTSC I know there is no upgrade to 1903 and want to know the difference between the two. So far I see no reviews comparing the two versions. I know 1903 fixes the thread scheduler and I want to see if there is a difference.
