sad because Portable versions were always cheaper until switch. Really wish the community would push Nintendo into better price points etc.

More expensive with half the resolution and frames

With the added bonus of virtualy no sales ever!

Concertoine2162d ago (Edited 2162d ago )

@UltraNova

Actually this seems like the kind of game that would do better on switch than anywhere else. They love platformers on switch.

Edit: oh i see what you probably meant. Still, even though Nintendos games are NEVER on sale other switch games are frequently on sale.

@concertoine

I can still find Wii U games at 40 Euros down at my local gameshop....their answer is always the same, its up to Nintendo not us.

Hey now this is perfectly fine because pOrTaBiLiTy.

I'll buy digital if I buy this game at all, still didn't play the first one. I prefer digital for Indies either way but annoying to see this be the case

Paying more money for the worst performing version yup that sums up a lot of multiplats on Switch.

SkatterBrain2162d ago (Edited 2162d ago )

ill pay $60 to see my new games in all there glory on my PS4 Pro (PS5 Backwards Compatibility Upgrades) then the most ill pay for multiplats on switch will be $40 only reason

i got wolfenstien on there was cause i got it on ebay for $40 ,
surprised i got captain toad for $30 and
Mario vs Rabbids for $25 ,
got Mario Odessey for $45 from Offer Up and
skyrim for $30 and
lets go pikachu for $50 ,
Mario Kart 8 deluxe for $40 ,
Saints Row 3 for $40
lego city undercover $15
Urban Trail Playground $10
steamworld dig 2 $10
snipper clips $20

so spent a little over $340 on all my games soo far

Eidolon2162d ago

Damn dude, that's a lot, and did you beat even half of them?

SkatterBrain2162d ago (Edited 2162d ago )

mario odessey, steamworld dig 2, snipperclips,urban trial playground,captain toad, lets go pickachu... only ones i finished on switch soo far, all others are half done, im busy trying to pass my ps4 games also and juggle work

SkatterBrain2162d ago (Edited 2162d ago )

Portabilty Tax on worse looking versions, if Sony still had a Handheld maybe the competition would help lower the price on these portable versions, but since Nintendo has a monopoly they can charge whatever they want , if there was absolutly no lag what so ever id choose to buy the game on PS4 and stream it to my vita using my 5g hotspot and come home to the 4K version with all the bells and whistles
