With half the Pokemon. It’s gran turismo all over again sorry we’ve gone from a 1000 cars to 150😑💆🏻 ‍♂️

Gemmol2206d ago

You do know this not the first Pokémon game to do that

Internet going crazy for no reason like they forget the past......not saying I agree to it but I understand Pokémon makers decision you in a new region all the Pokémon from past regions would not be there

RosweeSon2206d ago (Edited 2206d ago )

I’m fully aware that the previous games didn’t always have the full Pokédex in game but for the last few gens it been able to at least transfer previous gens, they’ve even got Pokemon bank and other apps to allow migration from previous gens being as virtual console allows gen1/2 and 3ds can play Gen4/5/6/7 and now they’ve decided to actually lock off previous gens except for whichever select Pokemon they choose.
They could have literally put GBA games on the VC ( i already have 10) so they could easily have finished the system off with VC ruby sapphire and emerald then all 7 gens would be on 3ds and able to sync up via bank and Gen 8 but oh no we’re gonna lock all that off. Even tho we pay for bank and they’ve gone to the hard work of putting the infrastructure in place to allow all these transfers it beggars belief

Like Gen VII, Sword & Shield seemingly still uses the models and animations first introduced in X and Y, in spite of the series now being on hardware that is much more powerful.

How can Game Freak argue "limited development time" as a reason not to include every existing Pokémon in the game when the graphics engine itself seemed to look virtually identical to the one they already had before?

I’m soooo pumped for this. Seeing other trainers an Pokemon in the wild. With co op raids an that. This game is a combination of a mmo and the breath of the wild style Pokemon I wanted.

funny how the 3d games are not in the top 5 haha

Giga_Gaia336d ago

It should be:
1) Gold/Silver/Crystal
2) Red/Blue/Yellow
3) Ruby/Saphire/Emerald

The rest can be put in any order you want.

No way original Gen 1 games are better than R/S/E

Rutaprkl336d ago

I liked Sword/Shield (Which didn't even make the list) way more than Scarlet/Violet, but everyone has opinions.

Inverno336d ago (Edited 336d ago )

IMO I think S&S is better because it's more visually appealing due to it's nice backdrops and linearity, but it was still meh. I couldn't bother finishing Scar/Vio, they managed to make an even more boring broken game only 2 games after S&S and that's quite impressive.

the amount of games with forced exp share making this list is depressing
even games like ranger or colleseum/ XD
or mystery dungeon, way more deserving
