Dragon Star Varnir is one of those niche JRPGs deserving of attention for adding new features to the standard turn-based battle system. Unfortunately, it suffers from recycled assets and padded dialogue.
It's always a pleasure to discover a game that does things a little differently from the norm and becomes something of an inspiration because of it.
