Valve has rejected the educational yuri visual novel The Expression: Amerilato for unknown reasons and focred the delay of the game on the platform.
A tale of two girls, not only learning to speak with each other but also learning how to express themselves to one another. Will it be a happy ending and what can you learn along the way?
Lynn writes: I have to admit, whilst I am absolutely in love with Yuri (lesbian relationships or homoeroticism) visual novels, I was a bit hesitant at first when I heard of The Expression Amrilato for the very first time.
Although its premise is a love story between girls, it also has the main feature of teaching you the language Esperanto, called Juliamo in the game, and is, therefore, an educational visual novel at the same time.
SukeraSparo and MangaGamer has just announced that their yuri visual novel "The Expression Amrilato" has landed on Steam. So don't miss out on it if you like visual novels and yuri content.
Good to see that Valve have changed their mind about that one, as the game itself doesn't not feature any sexual content and therefore it was just bizarre to not allow it's launch. Still, is such a shame that mostly likely only happened after all the noise that people (myself included) did.
So I would argue that supporting GOG on that release is a better idea than buying from Steam. Because that way we will motivate the guys at GOG to keep allowing this type of game in their store and that at least works as a safe net in case Steam tries anything like that with other games.
@Vits "We will only see lewd content in this game if people mod it in. Because the original title was created as a All-Ages product and therefore doesn't feature that sort of content."
- Sounds about right be the looks of it. Well, then it should be safe on Steam if that's the case.
So it begins
I have no horse in this race but from reading the article this title seems to have no porn in it at all, out of all the odd titles steam has let onto their platform why take the stance on this title? I mean I expected it would happen but their are titles sitting on steam at this moment for sale with the actual thing they claim their banning this title for, color me baffled.
Steam is an odd place though so it's to be expected lol
