Eleven games from the original Xbox were added to the old marketplace, including some Rockstar classics like Max Payne, Manhunt and Red Dead Revolver.
It's pretty clear at this point that Xbox are about to drop a bunch of new backwards compatible games for the 20th anniversary.
It has been 20 years?!? How old I am I! I was 18 when I played Halo... JEEZE I AM DECREPID!
I'll definitely be picking these up, would love to play through MP 1+2 and Manhunt again, and even RDRevolver.
I hope they add MP3 next!

Orchid I am still at work. I've been at work all day so I haven't tried them yet. But I have friends at home who tried the exact original Xbox game discs and they are not yet working. We all probably have to wait till November 15 Monday afternoon for them to work. Just four more days to go..
After next week, Dead or Alive 4 will be the only DOA not playable on xbox series consoles. Well they might even just add DOA4 to BC on Monday. That would make Xbox the only consoles to play DOA 1-6

Xbox has no games is a phrase I hear frequently on this website. There are some incredible games on sale right now. Some of last Jen's finest exclusives can be had super cheap. A lot of them also on Game Pass yes but if you want to own a digital copy now's the time. Sunset Overdrive deluxe version for $7.50. Quantum break for $10. Forza Horizon 4 ultimate for 44. Gears 5 game of the year for 25 the Ori games for 17. Just right there there's a lot of games and most of them feature all the DLC. I highly advise Playstation only gamers to at least pick up a series s and check out some of these games. I think Playstation only gamers are missing out by not playing these particular titles. Particularly Sunset Overdrive. That is insomniac's most original title and probably the second best game they've ever made!

Overwatch for $14.99 is a good deal. OW2 is on the way but there is no real timeline at the moment so you’d certainly get your money’s worth if you haven’t already purchased.

That’s an awful set of games for an entire generation lmao. I’m hyped to see what their new first party produces. Hopefully the next gen “hall of fame sale” won’t be so lackluster.
Disclaimer ..I'm a Sony fan. Although my brother has Xbox and we share and play together sometimes. Used to play halo avidly..but more recently ..cod. GT sport. And other Sony games such as God of war. spiderman. And uncharted 4/lost legacy.
Mainly play modernwarefare standard multiplayer.(not warzone) GTsport . And a couple free games you get each month.

My comment of this list is..
Gears of war 5 is a masterpiece. -if shootings your thing..but the rest are average. -and that's at very best. I'm being kind.. there very very average. Some fun to be found..but nothing groundbreaking. Or dazzling.
Compared to the fighting mechanics in Spiderman and God of war.. they are beat hands down. And there's no point in arguing it..untill you've played all said games mentioned.
Finally il give props to Forza. It's very very good.
But again .. go choose any car..play Nuremberg ring on Forza then on GT sport.
On GT you feel every bump in the road. Your belly might "go light" when you raise over a bump. The smoothness is immense. The fighting and competitiveness is great.
Now play Forza. Car handles like a PS2 game. Triggers buZz away like a can of wasps.. it's not even close.
To finish digital foundry did a comparison when they both came out. Concluded there both very good. Very close grafics wise. GT edges it just, on car detail . Forza has more detail on the tracks. The tracks also have better lighting on Forza, by some way. Even though GTs lighting is totally beautiful.
But the physics handling models etc. And close racing go to GT. So it's a toss up..
Can't wait til next gen..
Wish Microsoft and Xbox well. But just the ps5 controller wins it for me.
Best controller ever made in the $60-$70 range. Or what ever you can get it for on sale..
