They just need to work on their servers a bit. I've had 3+ hour queues several times to get in and just said F it, and played something else.

FYI, thought I'd chance my arm with it last night, queue jumped from 5 minutes up to 120+ minutes. I waited 5 minutes to see if it would change but nothing so I cancelled and tried it again immediately and I went straight in! So maybe try cancelling and retrying over and over?

Anyway, I had about 6 straight hunts before never ending matchmaking appeared. It's fun but nowhere near Monster Hunter level. I'll play until MH dlc though, thumbs up!

@old. I left the game going last night with the 180+ queue to do a few things and get some food. Came back and it was still 180+. Tried again later, still high as hell. Hopefully I can get in soon, though with the long weekend I doubt it'll shorten by much unless they add more servers. Looks like a fun game to play till the expansion hits for MHW.

It's nowhere as good as Monster Hunter World though, but that doesn't mean it's bad! MHW is just on another level.

Being a big MHW fan I wanted to try this but I couldn't join a game and it wouldn't even let me go solo. Seems like the servers were down or something.

It also stuttered like crazy and seemed a bit unstable. I hope this is something they fix. Will give it a go again this weekend and see if I have more luck.

As someone who had never played MH games before, I found MHW overwhelming. I didnt know what was going on and it was infomation overload far to quickly. This game explains its systems a lot better. I'm not saying it's a better game but I've found it much more easier to understand than MHW ever did.

@KyRo yeah I understand that. I remember I had to start MH on the psp 3times over because I just could not understand why people liked it so much. After the thrid time I finaly got it. Love it since but it definately needs some time...

@KyRo - Good point and I know what you mean. But once you understand how it works it is very rewarding. Dauntless could be a very good gateway to get into the genre, and if you like it and want more you can pick up MHW.

Yeah for the PS4 it tells you if they are playing on the pc, pretty cool.
Only thing that sucks is the Lag. Idk if it’s because I play on the ps4 or it’s my connection

You can solo it but the online part is mandatory it seems.

Servers seem to be stable this morning (almost 8am where I live). Got in within 30 seconds.

Played a little bit on launch. Couldn’t play anymore because of server. I’ll try again tonight. Fun game tho!

Looks cool but I don’t have time to wait to get into a game . Time is money and I’d rather pay for a game with good server capabilities. Maybe in a few months time when they fix things I’ll give it a try

Do you know what a game launch is? It never works. It doesn't matter how much money the developer has. Look at diablo 3. Just wait a few days. It'll be fine.

It's lots of fun, though its grindy in someways, I'm enjoying it still. The servers are the main issue with this game and MM can be bad because of that. Recommend going as a full team just to avoid that issue.
