Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "Sony and Microsoft are partnering together with a brand new initiative that is not just a ‘behind the scenes’ deal but something that will have a direct repercussion on the upcoming generation of gaming."
something tells me sony was spooked by google. they probably were thinking the enemy they can beat is better to ally with than to try and deal with google.
they could have easily have partnered any other big Japanese company and build their own cloud -streaming service ...they have the resources ....this partnership looks very suspicious with ambiguous results that would hurt only Sony.......i never liked how MS is doing things, anything they touch it becomes instantly sht with profit for them
That's why Sony bought Gaikai. But Gaikai's $700 million worth of servers pales in comparison the tens of billions MS spent to build up Azure worldwide.
MS has sever farms every where. This also probably saves some money
Phoenixwing burn your brain and hope it's born again.
all the partnership means is they plan to work together to explore opportunities, that about it so far.
