From its gripping atmosphere and emotionally driven cut-scenes, to the straightforward gameplay and enchanting narrative, A Plague Tale: Innocence stands out as easily one of the year best adventures.
Has anyone played this yet?
Sorry bro, I havent played it but it seems like this game came out of no where. But from the looks of thing i may buy and try it out. If no one gave you their opinion yet, i will make sure to let you know of my thoughts on the game.
I've started playing it yesterday. It's great so far, recommended for people who like games like The Last of Us.
So, we all need to buy it.
It's awesome not sure why IGN gave it a 7. This is one of the best games I have played this year.
I've been playing it for the last 2 nights. Just escaped from the Windmill farm. Really enjoying it. Definitely a sleeper hit. Love the atmosphere and the setting. This is coming from someone who has a phobia of rats, so the game is extra squimish for me.
Yep, and it is nowhere near the quality of the Last of Us, IMagine The last of us on PS2 with up-rezzed graphics, and that is what you have here. Not a 9 out of 10 at all, 7-8 tops.
I would like some user reviews as feedback since I do not trust reviews from companies since days gone
it’s a 7 or 6/10 game not a great game but okay nonetheless.
This and World War Z are what's on my radar.
World war z isn’t that fun. Days gone is way more fun
I'm only half way through....and so far it's captivating as hell. The pacing is one point and the story is enthralling and makes me want to keep playing. Absolutely recommend.
Going to get it and World War Z at some point...
I’m not sure why this game is getting such a high praise it’s a low budget game with some atrocious voice acting (haven’t tried French voice option) but there must be something I’m missing.
I'm playing in English and I haven't heard any atrocious voice acting.
I tried the game in French with English subtitles, but I liked siblings' voice acting in English with the slight French accent. Not heard any horrible voice acting yet either.
It's forgivable considering its not a made on a AAA budget and by a AAA studio. The game is very well pacing in terms of its narrative and gameplay design. People say we need to support SP games and in fact it's all fluff because they aren't ready to support games like A plague tale: Innocence.
