A whole generation of players didn't experience [blank]. Are we allowed to talk about [blank]?
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

Rise of the ronin sold twice as much as Dragons Dogma 2 this week...but no articles about that. It's only news if a PS exclusive is being outsold.
Spoiler, whoever is directing the remake seems to hate the original game.
Yes. The whole generation can experience the dang game on practically every device out there as it is and the remake isn't an excuse to not discuss a two-decade-old game. It's kind of like saying no spoilers for Beauty & The Beast live action movie.
Darth Vader is Luke's father.
The original has been out for 20 years and can be played on multiple devices. The remake isn't enough reason to not discuss anything that might be a spoiler
I discovered that spoiler while reading The Official PlayStation Magazine 2 years after the game came out, while I was in the Temple of the Ancients. Meaning that I was almost to the end of the 1st disc. They were discussing why they didn’t use a Phoenix Down.
It’s been 22 years, we can talk about, just how we can say the Sheik is Zelda (even Smash Bros. spoiled that).
