Working at a games store, you'd be shocked how many people, either by selling their system, or by somehow getting logged out, will forget their login info and just start a new account and rebuy all their games. Also youd be amazed by how many people constantly sell and rebuy gta v and their systems/library entirely.

I never liked the GTA series so I'm one of them .. I did preorder Duke Nukem Forever and got it at launch for PS3 though.. I enjoyed it a lot more then I think I'd enjoy GTA V.

The game is way better than the journos are giving it credit for. It's not perfect, a little rough around the edges, but it's tons if fun. Definitely worth full price. Unless you're in a budget, I'd say go for it.

That's the impression I've gotten. This game is not on the level of a God of War or a Horizon, both games I bought day one with no regrets. But it looks fun enough and I've really enjoyed the games that have been coming from Bend for years now.

Batnut00, buy it!!!! You won't regret it, brilliant game. Just had a kid so have little time to play, so bought Days Gone as wanted to make the most of when I do get a chance, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It almost feels like an open world Last of Us. It's great how dangerous the world feels, keeps you on edge all the time. I've seen complaints about having to refuel your bike, but that just adds tension to the atmosphere for me. Almost a mission in itself when you run out of fuel, but not enough to be annoying. Probably enjoy it if you're a fan of the Walking Dead, it's like playing as Daryl Dixon but with a personality.

Congrats on your baby! It's game world is just as detailed as TLOU for sure, which is pretty incredible because it's open world.

I love the hunting and crafting aspects as well as the gun play. I love how the side missions overlap into the main narrative. Anyone who enjoys action/adventure/horror needs to playDays Gone!

Bend is likely working on their own engine and i would expect for the developer to grow given their new office space is 30,000 Sq ft and they could easily accommodate 5000+ developers, which i am basing this estimate of a Ubisoft building in san fran which is 42,000 square feet and is said to house over 9000 developers.

The team at bend is currently 130 strong and likely will start hiring up huge like how Guerrilla is doing right now pushing towards 450+ Bend sure has the potential given bigger budgets, time to develop a engine rivaling their other first party brethren.

I hadn't heard that. I just finished Days Gone yesterday and am around 2-3 trophies from the platinum. I've been amazed a team of 130-something people made something this huge and detailed as their first PS4 game. I'm glad to hear they're expanding. I started playing their games with Bubsy and Syphon Filter and am very pleased to see them making a big comeback to console development.

I’m really glad it’s doing well. Hopefully they’ll get to do a sequel and build on what they’ve introduced so far. (And hopefully it will *actually* be an improvement, unlike for example Dead Rising which IMO never surpassed the first game somehow.)

Yes, it is, without a doubt. I’ve “Finally” started focusing on using Photo Mode, and some of the pictures I’ve taken of the textures & detail in the environment is astounding. And I’m playing on the base PS4/1080p tv. So remarkable to see what Bend has accomplished here!

Of course it was because Days Gone is a great game!! I would never let a few bad review scores make my decision. State of Decay 2 got a 7-7.5 and I had a blast with that game also.. One of the many things I love about Days Gone are how it took a little from many other games and even TV and put it all together.
