With 16 epic bosses, From’s shinobi opus of honor and blood utilizes an adaptive version of battle and traversal from previous games to create some of the most intense, soul-shaking, sweat-drenched battles in the history of the medium.
NoobFeed editor Ahnaf Tajwar writes - FromSoftware cooked up one of the best combat systems with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and never did anything like it again. That may be a good thing, as it makes this game one of a kind. If you are a fan of Souls games or a borderline masochist, you will, without a doubt, love Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice because it is a masterpiece. It is a must-play for all hardcore gamers.
ummm why are we getting a review for a 5 year old game?? everyone knows its a masterpiece... late much? lol
GoodSmile Company formally revealed two Nendoroids based off characters from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. - IS
Miyazaki's clearly got Sekiro and Bloodborne in his heart, and refining their combat philosophy is in his mind.
Hells yeah. Would love to see another really tight action focused title next. Be cool if he did something completely different, like a cyborg-ninja game.
Ishin the Sword Saint is tied with Father Owl 2 imho as the hardest bosses in any Soulsborne game.
As for Manus, Father of the Abyss, oh I meant Demon of Hatred (yeah...) what can I say other than From made the right decision to make him optional. He had no business being an obligatory boss in Sekiro because this was a straight up Dark Souls boss right at the end of the game where we already had to rewire our brains and muscle memory and unlearn our Soulsborne combat skills while learning the Sekiro way. For those who went up against this dude, did not cheese him and won, I salute you!
