Today, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the latest installment in the long-running military shooter series and a sequel to 2017's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. In development for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, Breakpoint is actually releasing this year, on October 4. And when it does, it won't be coming to Steam. That's right: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint will come to Uplay and the Epic Games Store, but not Steam.

Think that rumor that they'll still make a new console but at a profit at $1000 will be true though. The series consoles will remain their cheap alternative throughout next gen I would say. Keep in mind that game pass and pretty much going 3rd party is their main focus. They want to bring xbox everywhere.

Not surprised tbh, Ubisoft had stated that they won't be putting their games on Steam anymore (not that they were outstanding to begin with). You can bet that Epic probably paid them maybe 30 million dollars or more.
I look forward to steam's eventual and inevitable demise.
This really sucks!
They're taking advantage of the fact nobody likes epic, since people have no problem buying directly off uplay. They know barely anyone will buy off EGS so they let people buy off uplay and get all of the profits.
