I think people are fair to react to his comments because he didn’t explain it very well but what he means is there’s no stupid in game currency like in most other games. It’s direct purchases and that’s exactly how microtransactions should work. It’s incredibly stupid, greedy and corrupt to make people buy microtransaction currency bundles that never equal out to any of the purchases and always means you end up with too much or too little currency afterwards. It’s a bastard of a practice and should be illegal imo. That and no random rolling loot boxes. Direct purchases are key but publishers and devs are far too greedy to give it up.
