Announced in November of 2004 (and finally announced officially at E3 2005 by Hideo Kojima). The title is a next-generation adventure set in the aftermath of MGS2: Sons of Liberty. Kojima is in charge of as game design, production, and direction (along with additional director Shuyo Murata), with Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi producing the title and Yoji Shinkawa handling character design.
The concept behind the project is "No place to hide", and the new edition of the series will force Solid Snake into unexpected circumstances in an all-new storyline that breaks away in some ways from the previous MGS franchise entries.
Salman from Tech4Gamers writes "Mortal Kombat 9 revived the series from a low point after bringing it back to 2D combat. It marked a new high-point for the franchise due to its incredible roster, exciting cinematic story mode, and high-octane combat."
That game was actually goated. It was the first time ever that I actually tried to get good at a fighting game. Unfortunately the online connection was so dogshit it made it hard to enjoy and eventually I gave up. Haven't really played much fighting games since.
Taking a trip back to Housemarque's forgotten platformer.
The Simpsons: Hit and Run, The Legend of Dragoon, and Chrono Trigger would benefit substantially from a modern remake.
The Xenosaga trilogy, the Wild Arms games, Xenogears, Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis, Suikoden. The Warriors game I know nothing about but it looks interesting. Anybody can do a list of games they want to see get modernized I would lose my shit if Namco brought the Xenosaga trilogy to modern consoles.
I'm assuming the submitter has a subscription on GameSpot to view the HD trailer.
sorry about that, i originaly posted the link for IGN, but IGN also requires a substription. I thought that GameSpot did not, sorry about this..... nice screen shots?
YELLOW?????????
Well I must say these trailers look good. It's about the only game that would justify a PS3 in my eyes. But still there are questions that raise.
This is not ingame, maybe it is inengine. We've seen CGI from Killzone 2 and Motorstorm @ E3 2005 and there is nothing left of that impressive graphic quality by now. So how is this game going to hold up the created hype?
I am really curious. This is by no means a post just to post bad about PS3, this is a serious question in my mind and I think on either side of fanboys PS and XBOX
But Snake gets old, that's clear. And even this trailer almost gives me the idea that the PS will be a movie machine/cinematic and not real deal on gaming
I was like wow when he was at the graveyard and the helicopter came. The shadows off of the trees was great. Then I notice the whole video had this piss color to it that wasn't all that appealing. Then I thought, ok can my 360 do this? The answer is yes. Because there hasn't been no game footage yet only cinema. So as much as I love Metal Gear. The verdict for this one is still out.
