Codemasters has opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art development studio in the heart of Birmingham, UK. The new office in the Grade II listed Alpha Tower, formerly the headquarters of regional television company ATV, is now home to the BAFTA award-winning F1 game development team which currently boasts 108 employees.
Meta writes: "Xbox and Meta teamed up last year to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) to Meta Quest, letting people play Xbox games on a large 2D virtual screen in mixed reality. Now, we’re working together again to create a limited-edition Meta Quest, inspired by Xbox."
Hopefully this gets Embracer group back on track
A new studio based in Liverpool called Starlight Games is developing a futuristic sports title and is headed by the co-creator of WipEout.
Who buys those F1 games? Surprised they make any money after paying the licence fees.
I would buy those F1 games up so fast if I could get my life together. The graphics are so gnarly since F1 2017 with its voxel based ray tracing.
I really would like to see Codemasters make Overlord III and a new Cannon Fodder. So hopefully these games will be made from the new studio.
