We tear down the dismal article from Forbes about Anthem’s recent announcement of the delay of the game’s roadmap, and how this, in fact, ISN’T a bad sign for the game. - Tim @CD
GF365: "Among all the well-received and beloved video games, there are some that are horrendous. Here are our picks for the worst big budget games released since 2010."
Anthem; I'd forgotten that game existed. I remember thinking the trailer was BS though; turns out I was right.
"Worst big budget games" and immediately lists Genshin Impact, a game that has $4 billion in revenue.
I havent played Genshin Impact and Mafia 3 was alright. The rest though I kind of agree with.
I loved the 1st Kane and Lynch and I could not understand how the 2nd game was as bad as it was.
The PlayStation Summer sale expands with a load of new discounts.
Including indies I’ve bought like more than 20 games, good deals all around.
Told my partner to stop me from browsing. We'll see how that goes, the first part of the sale already got me.
Anthem 85% off? Thought they went free to play. Has the game gotten any better?
Edit-Nvm, it's Europe anyway.
How much does EA pay these days for these sort of articles?
Fixing their game isn't a bad thing but a lot of these fixes shouldn't be needed post launch anyway. Having to fix loot in a loot based shooter? As a huge fan of the looter shooter genre, this just makes my decision to avoid the game justified. It's blatantly obvious the game wasn't ready for release.
Also going by EA's track record of GAAS products that have underperformed and lack microtransaction potential like Battlefront 2, this postponement will most likely mean they are scaling back on their content offerings, something they can technically get away with as what their roadmap provided was incredibly lofty in what fans can expect. It's literally Battlefront 2 all over again, to try and put a positive spin on this is hilariously shilly.
LOL but nothing was really fixed.
And the way the acted during their live stream? Pathetic.

Simply put, Bioware isn't the company they once were, and are so out of touch with their fan base that it boggles the mind.
