GR: "Despite quite a few issues and never truly reaching the high marks set by some other games in the top-down shooter genre, God’s Trigger still manages to be worth playing thanks to it carving its own path. Some of the more unique levels are a blast to play and the core combat is fun from start to finish. The cooperative focus is also a great bullet point in its favor, and it’s implemented in such a way that the single-player doesn’t feel lessened because of it. So many games within the genre just try to be the next Hotline Miami and wind up being underwhelming due to it. Thankfully, this avoids that pitfall."
Starting today, Enter the Gungeon and God’s Trigger are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until August 27 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they’re yours to keep.
got them both from epic. definitely want to try out god's trigger and may play enter the gungeon later. This stuff is crazy with the free games. If this keeps up I'll have more games for free than the ones i've bought from steam.
edit: also a look at next weeks new free games from epic are legit good.
Neil writes: "With all the delays that have hit the gaming industry over the first few months of 2020, the release of big AAA titles has been somewhat slow. But that in turn does bring hope - hope to all those who are looking for cheap gaming fixes as they get the chance to do so with the older, previously missed, titles. And that is where the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 10th-16th March 2020 comes in, delivering all manner of cut price goodies to Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers."
Sahil Writes 'God’s Trigger is a game built with Unity that just oozes retro top down shooter style. Much like Hotline Miami, the game features a pumping soundtrack with classic gameplay to boot.'
