Pocket Gamer writes: "Despite the taste of pumpkin still fresh on our tongues, the big Christmas push is becoming visible on the super-console shelves. But does the festive season also affect the mobile games market?
This particular area of the industry feels to fit a different profile; one that isn't subject to seasonal buying trends or prime release dates. Perhaps this is because of the intangible distribution method, and buying a mobile game as a present for someone isn't particularly feasible (although there's a gap in the market there for a savvy games publisher). But by the same token we're undeniably seeing an increase in anticipated games in this week's new releases."
