RBI hopes to remedy this situation by taking an arcade approach to the genre rather trying to compete with the sim juggernaut that is MLB: The Show. Unfortunately RBI is a bit of a foul ball."
R.B.I. Baseball 19 is a baseball simulation game developed by MLB Advanced Media and is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
Take us out to the ballgame, just not the one from RBI Baseball 19. This messy attempt at major league baseball gets everything wrong, from basic fundamentals to slowdowns and crashes, to a weird, unavoidable mercy rule where professional baseball teams simply give up if they fall behind.
While there are improvements across the board, R.B.I. 2019 still falls short of being a must-have baseball outing. It's fun without being deep, and the lack of online play will be unforgivable to many players.
