Ninja Blade is From Software’s best ninja game of all time, including Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. At least it’s the best version of a specific type of ninja game.
Just bring back Tenchu
Well aren't you cool? Taking a game that was pretty much universally acclaimed and then saying that one that received mediocre to bad reviews across the board is better... There's always one "hipster" out there with a contrarian opinion.
I don’t remember much of it but wasn’t it a QTE heavy game like Asura’s Wrath and GOW3?
It was like the Xbox Ninja Gaiden with an insane amount of QTEs. Not bad but not innovative.
Asura's Wrath and GOW3s QTE usage are planets apart though :D
Both of those games were good so....
Well he’s a samurai, not a ninja...
He’s a Shinobi. Not a Samurai.
Yes it is. I tried playing Tenchu on my PS1 and it doesn't hold up. Ninja Blade is a futuristic button mash type game, it's a bit generic. Sekiro is beautiful and brutal and the environments are spot on. And the combat is just awesome, as it's precise, nuanced and lethal (not in a cartoony way like Ninja Blade) I would say technically and in my opinion Sekiro is their best one to date.
Tenchu had some great potential but it was too glitchy for me to enjoy it fully. Same with Way of the Samurai.
You misspelled "Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven" there, bub.
I always felt that Tenchu 2 was the superior game. I feel like WoH just failed to move the series forward and was more of a Tenchu 1.02, minus the awesome sandbox level design. It totally missed the boat on all the advancements that Tenchu 2 brought to the table.
I never got to play Tenchu 2. I played 1 when it came out but never could find 2 in my area.
I know that's Otogi
